Together, we worked with our hands to shape something new: no tools, just touch. Using repurposed sailing ropes and shredded materials, BEA1991 guided us in creating unique fabric pieces that were (re)used and enjoyed in everyday life.
Participants came with their own materials to repurpose and transform.
What to bring
- Old fabrics and synthetics (tear- or cut-resistant, thin materials were welcome)
- Ranging from clothes to towels, bedding, plastics, linen or cotton, PVC or wool
- Ropes (used ones from around the house, sailing, climbing, etc., if available)
