Tea towels, lace, and fabric scraps — those quiet remnants tucked away in drawers — held untapped potential. In this workshop, artist Lejla Vala Verheus showed us how to transform these forgotten textiles into bags and wearable pieces using a modular foil printing system. With its bright colors and reflective effects, this system let participants combine digital-inspired patterns (flowers, letters, abstract shapes) with the delicate textures of lace and embroidery. Weaving past and present, tradition and technology, we created pieces that shimmered with new life and meaning.
