During this workshop, participants gathered on the rooftop of Woonwerkpand Tetterode to explore which natural materials can be used for dyeing textiles. We learned how to prepare clothes for dyeing, make a dye bath, and create tie-dye patterns using 100% natural ingredients.
Permanent Clothing worked with natural dyes made from products that would otherwise have been thrown away, such as onion skins and avocado pits. Participants did not need to bring anything themselves: fabrics and T-shirts left over from previous events were provided to experiment with.
